Laura Watkinson

Laura Watkinson is a keen translator and reader of picture books and many other genres. She loves learning languages and has a serious Duolingo habit. Laura has studied and worked in England, Scotland, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.

Since 2010 she has lived in a tall thin house on a canal in Amsterdam with her husband, Peter, and two cats, Bear and Sasha. Laura has translated a number of titles for Book Island, including Sir Mouse to the Rescue, Little Wise Wolf and The Golden Cage.
