Witchfairy
Witchfairy
By Carll Cneut
Rosemary is bored of being a fairy. She’d much rather be a witch. Much to the disapproval of her mother she takes off to spend time with the witches in the dark wood. Rosemary thoroughly enjoys her new life as a witch but eventually decides to take the best of both worlds and becomes a witchfairy.
A stunning picture book about growing up and finding your own place in the world

I love every inch of this book- the enthralling illustrations that draw you in and the rebellious Witchfairy! A beautiful treasure to have in your collection and share with your young ones.
My daughter and I love this book. Quirkily and vibrantly illustrated, it's a real modern day fairy tale. We see the determined, adventurous and non-conformist fairy Rosemary explore the 'witch' side of her personality despite disapproval from her mum! The book gently challenges the idea that a person must follow one particular path and reminds us of the value of acceptance and open-mindedness.
Witchfairy is a beautifully illustrated subversive fairytale. Rosemary is a fairy for the next generation of children; outspoken, determined and independent. It is a tale of self love, following your own path no matter what anyone thinks and a lesson for all parents. It teaches us that identity is fluid and you do not need to be just a witch or a fairy.
